I AM TERRIFIED OF FAILURE AND FEEL LIKE I AM NOT ENOUGH to make this whole magazine thing work. I feel like I am in over my head and that I look like a fool. I don't feel like I have the skills or ability to turn Belong into a source of revenue to support my family.

so there you have it.

I'm an introvert. Sales is not my thing. Networking is anxiety producing (like, the popping pills kind of anxiety). I like to be behind the scenes, organizing and processing things. But the magazine needs more than organization to make it work. Belong needs advertising, sponsors, partners a whole community of friends to make it work.

How am I dealing with my inadequacies? I'm taking it one day at a time, one task at a time, one step at a time. I can only do what I can do. If Belong doesn't work out (notice, I don't use the word "fail"), I know that going through the process is preparing me for something more--for whatever might be next.
